I had purchased a Compaq Presario Notebook (CQ40-425TU). Just one month after the purchase, the screen of the laptop started giving problems. As the laptop was within the guarantee period, I took my laptop to an HP Service Center at Kolkata. They said that when they might take around 10 days for repairing my laptop.
After 15 days when I gave them a call, they said that the company had not yet confirmed whether or not my laptop was within the guarantee period, so they have not received the spare part yet. They kept saying this for the next 15 days. After 30 days, they finally said that the spare part will be arriving shortly. On the 35th day, they called and asked me to collect my laptop. But when I went there to collect it, they said the laptop is 'almost ready' and would take 10 more minutes. And they finally returned my laptop after I waited there for around 1 hour.
I am extremely disappointed by the products and services of HP. I would advise everyone never to buy an HP product.
