Defective laptop

I'm (was) owner of Compaq Presario V 3293T Intel laptop (purchased on 20th March) (s.no.1-2CE 7070M6F) from authorized vendor in Udaipur (Rajasthan) at the cost of Rs.47000/- (four seven zero zero zero). I bought this laptop considering company's reputation and propagated on quality. The first shock was when I found defective battery which was replaced after much struggle. Now, against my belief in the quality of Compaq product I discovered that the mother board has collapsed. The company service center in Udaipur is unable to explain what is consumer fault. I have evidence in form defective battery supplied to me with the laptop as reason to show the piece was of inferior quality. I had to change the RAM on advice of service center that is another evidence which shows that the laptop was of inferior quality. Now company wants me to pay Rs24000/(twenty four thousand only) to repair it. The telephone number I was sent through an email by HP consumer team (Pratima MP) to contact says that the number does not exist. This is another example quality of after sale service.
