Audio and microphone is not working

Sir I baught a compaq laptop in february. The microphone was not working already and now the audio problem is occuring.
so please solve my problem because the shop keepers from where i baught the laptop they are not taking the responsibilities. It is now on its warranty period please help me and send and engineer to check it.
