Espected sir/ madam,
I had purchased laptop compaq presario V3000, model V3137TU, serial number 2CE650076Z, p/n: RU915PA#ACJ, on 02/03, from SUPREME - THE IT MALL, KOLKATA. WEST BENGAL.
am a student of INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND INFORMATION SCIENCE, BHUBHANESWAR, PERSUING, POST GRADUATION PROGRAME IN RETAIL MANAGEMENT.
Actually on 28 th decamber 2007 my laptop was showing an error of hard disk, that it had found an imitent failure, and also the battree backup was just for an hour, on 2nd of january I went to the service centre of the particular company, and had deposited the laptop, there I showed all my documents, [purchase invoice, warranty card] but they did not took it, said it wil not be required, and gave a copy with work order number BH/07/03531. But on the next day again they called me and asked to submit the invoice, once again I went and gave all the documents, but they only took the warranty card's, photo copy, again on the next day, they asked me to bring the invoice, then I once again went with the invoice and gave it to them, this was my third time to the service centre, but after that, I got my laptop after 14 days days, where the service centre said me to give it in 5 days, after their receving, due to the delay I had lost 3 of my projects, which were very essential to me, both for my future and for my studies. and also, now my laptop is not working well, its much slower then what it was.
I had really very high belive on COMPAQ, but this situation has really disturbed the image, i will now never insist any one to but the brand.
now i still have some problem, but am afraid to go to the service centre. I had invested a lot to buy this product, it took me near about 45, 000, and its not a joke, for a student.
