Summary: Ours is a registered Private Co-operative Soceity with 29 members, the rooms are in chawl format.

A builder has given us a propsal to redevelop our society, and provide private flats to our members. The propsal given is as below

However out of 10 members in 3rd slo, 2 members require extra 10 sqfeet and if the same is not allocated then they do not want to redevelop the society.

Question

1) can 2 members out of 29 members who are private owner of their house can stop the redevelopment.

2) Can 2 members call the police or file a litigation in the court against the builder for harresing the individual member.
