Absurd Quality of Fabric

I purchased 02 Trousers and 02 Shirts from Cotton County Outlet at Sadar Baazar Firozabad on June 14 vide invoice no. 128808100955 amt. paid after disc. Rs 1644.00.

Both the trousers got eroded surface at some points. Later I came to know from some friends of min that these days these garment stores are cheating by claiming such high discounts as 90%. Many leading brands are indulged in this practice these days.

I went to the shopkeeper from where I bought those trousers but he refused to make an exchange. His argument was as simple as this " Agar ham exchange kane lahen to hamare ehan exchanged items ka dher (Heap) lag jayega." These words are enough to state the real scene.

Simply these garments dealers are selling us cheap stuff beneath discounts lollypop. Do these comopanies not bear any responsibility towards quality of products. You say this is worth 100 and sell it for 100 then its OK. But if you claim this is actually worth Rs 1000 and after discount offer it is for 100. Then it is a case of simple cheating.
