Despite of repeated complaints about the poor condition of my accommodation (Ty-III, Qr No-809) no action sofar being initiated. The A.E (civil), J.E (civil) have personally visited the spot to asses the matter but to no yeild. The bathroom floor is damaged thereby allowing water to log & subsequently the room reeks of foul smell & look wiered. The condition of the toilet & kitchen is accentuating the callous attitude of the civic authority (CPWD) and much to our costernation, they (CPWD staff) have all excuses viz. shortage of funds, delay in inviting tenders, permission from higher authorities & a lot more reasons to procrastnate the process of settling the matters. The stated accommodation was alloted to me in 2002 and till today no renovation work is done, ostensibly lack of fund. One of the long pending requisition for a steel gate at the main door could not yet be accomplished since the priority is given to the residents deposited the desired (10% of the cost) whereas this system (rule) is already rescinded to install freely. Everytime I go to enquire about the development, the same story is repeated either by AE or JE (civil). This has rendered tremendous worries as well as humiliation to me since I have to live with the inhabitable condition despite of remitting a fair amount of money i.e HRA license fee to the govt of India.
