Delay in servicing

I have given my laptop for servicing on the 16th of july in guwahati, authorised servive centre for hp, whose address is M/S I.T. Works, Dr. B.K.Kakati Road, ulubari, guwahati-781007.

its still in warranty period as i ve purchased it on 9th of january. the problem diagnosed was that of the hard drive. when asked the reason for the delay in the service, the reply we get was that the hard disk has to be replaced. the part, it seems has to be delivered by the bangalore office. i m really upset with the service and the long and tall claims made by compaq regarding servicing seems really faux. kindly look into the matter as i m really suffering a lo.t due to this my work still remains pending.
