Card not in use

Dear Sir

I have a credit card vide No 4339 4870 1031 2612.The expiry date on the card suggest that the card is valid till Feb. All my payments are upto to date cleared through Cheques. Now I am not in a position to use the card any where. Recently i also received a letter stating that my credit limit is 21000/-Rs. I do not understand why. Iwas on a foreign trip to USA in the month of september. There to i was embrassed while i wanted to use the credit card. If this is the attitude why do you firstly issue credit cards.
