Sir/ Madam,
This is Prem shankar gupta a
customer of HDFC bank who has a savings and credit a/c for a very
long time.
I am i so upset, worried and
tortured by your debt (collection) dept. Reason i happened to know
that my
amount was blocked in my savings
a/c i was told to get in touch with collection dept, i did so and to
my
surprise they told that the amount
which is Rs 30, 000/, was blocked as i have dues on my credit card and
when i told them that i have a
settlement for my credit cards they had no clue, first they told that
i was lying
then they demanded for the letter i
was so surprise to know that the very people had no updates on my
credit
a/c which shows the incapability or
lack of work interest which spoils the brand name like HDFC. So i
order
prove myself that i was telling the
truth i requested them to have a visit at my place at their convinient
time as i
had no time to make it at their
office they simply denied in a very rude manner and this happened when
the customer was coporating in all
possible manner so i went to the debt management office and showed
them the letter. They agreed that i
did have a settlement but the payment was not made full that is why
the
settlement is not valid one i told
them that i was suppose to pay the settlement in two instalments i
paid the
first one in month of march and my
second instalment was suppose to be paid in april, i was in my home
town
in april for some urgent issue so i
called up and explained about the situation to the employee who was
handling my credit card a/c so he told
me to pay minimum Rs 1200/ i said that i dont have my banking info so
he gave me my credit card number and asked me to pay and the rest as
soon as i am back in pune i agreed. i
just want make a point that i acted as i
was told by the employee. When i came back to pune and up to pay the
remaining amount they said that have not recieved the Rs 1200/ payment
and they demanded the full amount of the second instalment i said that
not possible i have made the payment and i gave them a copy of receipt
of the payment made on the a/c. They took the receipt and said that
they would get back after rectifying the mistake. They never did so i
called as many times as i could but everything was in vain. It was
this month that i found out myself why my credit a/c dont show the
payment of Rs 1200/ as the credit card number given to me was wrong.
I told this to the dept people of Hdfc they told me that i was lying
and why will the employee give me wrong credit card number i told it
might be a mistake. And they asked me to proof it i said first you
never believed about the settlement letter and now when i have proved
you are asking me to prove again something that you people should have
look into first. Ok i said it can be proved if you people pull up
calling database conversation of the particular dates. But they said
all we can do is take the payment and nothing else is what you will
get or can do here and aske me to leave.
I want some severe action on the employee
who was so rude and insulting to me as her action was not satisfactory
after giving the info, she should have had a word with the employee
who was handling my a/c first she told me that she has already done
that and she got the feed back that the settlement is null and void if
this feed back was really given by the delhi branch as this a/c is a
delhi a/c and the the employee is Mr gaurav sharma even he should be
dealt in a severe manner, you will find his details below as you read
the mail not only this the pune debt dept employee first asked me to
come to the office and then told that i was not called by her it was
me who came one fine day. As per terms and policy a customer is
suppose to know all possible aspect of the a/c as if why his a/c was
blocked what payment have the bank of credit dept not recieved what
payment he is suppose to pay she told me that she was not obliged to
do so and told me that it's my mess and i should have the updates of
the a/c all she had was a piece of paper and nothings else and this
action was done by somebody who has a designation of asst- manager.
This shows her incapability or lack of work interest as she was
suppose to come pu with optoin and solution you will know details as
you read the mail and my credit card a/c to be settled and my amount
to be unblocked as soon as possible if this doesn't happen, i will
take the appropriate action on HDFC bank and i will see that none of
my friends, relatives and family have any a/cs of HDFC . I am giving
you the detail of the employee who is handling my credit a/c now. Her
name is Susma Vichare, designation- Asst- manager, her he extention
number is 8071. It the pune branch in swargate, the building name is
cybernex the office is on 3rd flr. My banking details are as follows-
4346 7710 0694 7486- hdfc credit card number.
0150223- the Ref no of the settlement letter
Rs 7150- the settlement amount to be settle in two go which is 3575 each.

The HDFC employee who provided me the settlement letter
and was handling my a/c was Mr Gaurav sharma, employee Id-40387 and
the other guy was Mr Ravi.
Hi,
I am giving you the details of wrong credit card number given to me
by your employee.
It's- 4346 7720 0402 1704, I have made payment of Rs 1200 on this
a/c and the date is 27/04 and the the branch is HDFC of boring
road, it's branch code is-235 if i am correct. I have the receipt. I
also wanted to know regarding the complain that i have made and what
action have you people taken.
