Transfering reward points

With regards to you imint point transfer from the original reward points, I am unable to understand the new system introduced.is it giving any additional benifit to the card holders or a new introduction to deprive the facility of the card holders. What is the benifit of transfering rewards to imint points.is it more convenient to the company? if so please explain in detail.
