Fully paid after Settlement still showing outstanding of Rs.35, 508.95

My case was settled in the month of November at Rs.20, 000/- payable in for equal monthly instalment of Rs. 5, 000/- each. Four cheques (877061 to 877064) drawn on Standard Chartered Bank, Vasant Vihar, New delhi were collected vide receipt no. 6527636 of Book No. 130553 on 19/11. The issuer of the Receipt Mr. GangaRam was the recovery agents employee whose signature is appearing in the receipt. First cheque No. 877061 dated 22.12.2006 was presented in the bank on 7.12.2006 and was returned back. I paid cash Rs.4650/- after deducting Bank charges debited to my account. Cheque No. 877063 was debited to my account on 4.12.2006. connection please find attached herewith

cheque no. 877064 was not presented by the Bank which was dated 22nd February.

copy of statement of account of Standard chartered Bank Account No. 523-0-517225-1 was provided to the legal section of the Bank to enable enable them to confirm the realisation of the cheque No.877062 and 877063.

In the month of June I was told by the Bank's legal section that the Cheque No 877064 has been embazelled by the staff of the recovery agency and that I need to pay cash immediately on 9.6.2007. Though I was not liable for payment through cash yet I paid cash. No NOC was provided to me despite of the fact that the Bank has recovered full amount settled as above.

After all the above payments One day in the month of September I got a call from the Bank that I am owing approax Rs.30, 000/- due to non payment of the settled amount.

I want to bring to your notice that despite of the realisation of the above cheques I am getting calls from recovery agents which is very irritating and unwanted.

Today i.e., on 19.11.2007 I have received alegal Notice from Kohli & Sobti advocates for conciliation. This is unfair and unwanted.

Because of the above i had fallen sick and admitted to the hospital. I have also lost mental balance.

Notionaly and factualy I have lost money equivalent to approaximately 5 lac due to the inconvenience created by the bank.

I therefore, request to Please resolve the issue and help me getting the NOC immediately.

I am so much disturbed that I may take any extreme step.
