Dear Sir / Madam,

Need your help in resolving an issue with HDFC BANK related to a Rail reservation Transaction.

Myself was trying do one train reservation from IRCTC website and while making the payment the transaction got failed somehow and ticket was not booked. Bank had deducted the amount and service charges for it. Later on Bank refunded the basic amount but not the transaction charges.

I wrote to Indian Railway and they confirmed that it had to be returned back. On this HDFC confirmed to me in writing on 28th October that they will refund the Service charge immediately. However till date the amount had not been credited and bank is not responding to my emails at all even after forwarding daily reminders to them.

Request you to take the issue with them and arrange to get the refund of service charge. (although not a huge amount but why should we loose even a Single Rs)
