CROSSWORD ON-LINE BOOK STORE
No Delivery - No Response

I made an on-line transaction on http://www.crossword.in successfully on 29-AUG around 11:48 hours. Expected Shipping Date was 08-SEP.

I received confirmation from them by e-mail @ 11:51 hours.

I received confirmation from my credit card company @ 11:53 hours about a successful transaction.

Now, the wait starts.

I wrote an e-mail on 08-SEP @ 18:27 hours.

I received an e-mail from them on 09-SEP @ 09:00 hours explaining standard script of delayed orders and asking for another 3 days time failing which order will be cancelled - that was their tag line.

I wrote back on 09-SEP @ 20:31 hours.

They wrote back on 09-SEP @ 20:35 hours (about cancellation request forwarded to concerned department to do the needful - so that he can get his salary about finished job of writing an e-mail - where are those 3 days requested in the morning?).

I wrote back on 09-SEP @ 20:40 hours asking for cancellation dead-line.

They wrote back on 09-SEP @ 20:47 hours with a reply of another 2 working days for cancellation confirmation to appear in my e-mail.

I wrote on 10-SEP @ 14:05 hours explaining to whoever will read it that i never requested for a cancellation.

I wrote again on 13-SEP @ 20:19 hours asking the same thing.

I wrote on 15-SEP @ 15:32 hours.

I wrote again today (19-SEP) @ 20:29 hours.

My money is stuck up with a credit card company. I cannot order from anywhere else. And these guys somehow know that my complaint will never reach HIGHER-UPS because there is no such address, phone no. anything on their web site and they refused to inform by saying that they do not have their employers' details. These are ruthless youngsters of New India. Trying to fool around with business models very meticulously built-up by their promoters (Shoppers' Stop).

Not to mention that i made several phone calls as well without any result.

Is there any remedy for this stupid silence of their?

P.S. : Never do business with CROSSWORD.IN online. They cheat people like this. My reading period is almost ruined by them.
