Harassment By the Department

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

After getting frustrated with the attitude of the DHBVN Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam complaint office, employees stationed at Faridabad Sector-7 division, I'm forced to seek help from this forum. I'm a senior citizen retired from Government company, facing trouble with DHBVN regarding harassment against my electricity bills.

I was not in my house for 4-5 months and thus DHBVN had been sending electricity bills on flat rate and after coming back when I raised this issue with the concerned department they advised me to relocate the main meter on the Electricity poll outside the house and confirmed to adjust the access amount paid against the bills upon relocation of the meter. And when I arranged wire and required items to relocate the meter outside my house than they told me to get the new electricity meter because I refused them to pay any kind of labor as I believe it is DHBVN's duty to arrange the installation.

When I asked them that why they can not install the present electricity meter outside, they informed me that it does not contain seal from DHBVN department, although it was approved and installed by Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam on 22/4 wide receipt No. 7503.

I've come to this forum with a belief to get justice as I don't wish to promote corruption.

Kindly provide me with the solution to my problem.
