Fault in webcam and warrenty issue

I bought a laptop'dell inspirion 1525' about three months ago through a local dealer in rohtak (haryana), after one month webcam of laptop had stopped working, firstly i thought it was nothing but after i did all possible things to operate webcam but failed, till then i was not dilivered warrenty of laptop, which is not reached to me till now, i called to the dealer but he says that he had given a notice to the company further it is all company's matter, so please send warrenty or tell what i do to get warrenty and service
