ICICI Bank Charged me Late Payment Fees without any reasons

I, Dhiraj Lunkad, Credit Card holder of ICICI Bank Since 2004. I have taken an personal loan on the basis on my Credit card Limit. Till today I have paid the Bank on time, by cheque payment. But only this month, I have been charged with late payment fees without any reasons. I had dropped a Cheque for the amount due in the ICICI Bank ATM (Savedi Branch, Ahmednagar City). I got 3 - 4 calls from the Bank regarding the payment, and I told that I have already made the payment. But No, the bank dont want to listen. They simply charged me Late payment fees (Rs. 600 Service Tax Rs. 74/-). I called them up and asked them to waive those charges, and I also asked them to file a complaint regarding the loss of the cheque. They asked me to make a new cheque payment, and then they will reverse the LAte Payment charges. Also they told me me to do STOP PAYMENT for the previous cheque. I asked them, If I do stop Payment, I will be charged Rs. 150/- S. Tax. Who will bear those charges, and they said that we cannot do anything. What the heck, when it is the banks mistake, and they still dont want to bear those charges, why the hell, should we bear all the charges...
