Problem in Inverter Battery

Dear Sir,

I have purchased the Truepower Inverter and Battery from Mr. Rameshwar Mundra, Diamond Power Solution, Shop no. 21, Diwan Tower, Opp. Parvati Cinema, Station Road, Vasai (West), Thane 401202, Cell no. 9325570706 towards cash memo no. 009 dated 30.4.08 wide your battery serial no. SJ07212893 for Rs.13, 500/-.

While purchase of above item your Manager and Marketing manager (Mr. Karan) they have promised me, this battery will give backup of 8hrs for 3 tube lights and 3 fans. 2years Guarantee for Inverter and– 1year warranty - Battery.

I gave verbal complaint to your marketing manager in Dec.-08 it is giving only 3 hrs backup for 1 tube light and 2 fans and he came to check the same and he told distil water is less that’s why this problem is coming. And he has put distil water and told me this problem will now solved it will give atleast 6 hrs backup.

This problem I have not faced earlier as every day load shading was for 2 hrs in the morning and 2 hrs in the evening or less than 2 hrs. One day in the month of Jan-09 load shading was more than 3hrs then I came to know my battery is giving problem. I have reported about the same to the Marketing manager (Karan) then only I came to know the proprietor of this company has shifted to Nalasopara (East). Marketing manager (Karan) gave the information that he had sold all stock and he is no more with his company and he has set up the ups and battery business with Exide brand. And also Karan told me to call the proprietor of above company. I called the proprietor but he is telling to call Karan saying he is the proper person. When I told you are the proprietor and you took the money from me. He told 1 year is going to complete so this will work for 3 hrs. only so his product is fine. Again in the end of March I called proprietor it is not working properly it is your duty to give proper service and requested. As the time passed his battery was giving the backup for 1.5 hours only. I requested again then he told he will talk Karan to check up. But Karan has not come to check, but he helped me giving distil water.

As a proprietor of the company, he has never given good service. He has never send his person to check the same. Because of his battery giving problem my family members are getting frustrated to sit in dark without light and fan with my parents and new born kids. Also without light & fan mosquito is biting to kids.

I humbly request you to look into this matter and replace the battery with new one or refund the money back at the earliest.
