No proper Diagnosis

We have lost baby in the 7th month, the fetus is diagonised with Hydrocephalus and doctors advised us to have immediate abortion. Otherwise it will effect mothers health.

We have visited Vijay Marie Hospital from frist month of pregnancy, the consultant doctor is Dr. Meera Raj Gopal (Gynec) she has scanned and have given positive results, the fetus is good and heartbeat is normal. We regularly visted on the appointments which she has given us to come for check ups. We use to remind her regularly to have a scan of fetus but she told us not necessary. This continued for 5th month and in 6th month we plan to show to other doctor. The doctor gave us instructions to have a scan so we went for scan and to our surprise the fetus is diagonised with hydrocephalus. We rushed back to Dr. Meera and showed her the reports. She refused to take the paitent and taken file from us and written that we have not turn up for checkup. She changed the report and told that it is our mistake that we have not turn up. We use to have check up appointment on 11th of every month but she wrote that we have not come up on 19th. This is too much a doctor trying to hide her mistake and blaming other for her inability. This shows her negligence and how far doctors can go to avoid there mistakes.

We went another hospital and have done abortion, whole of our family went with taruma and shock which could not be minimized. So i request the authorities to take stringent action and let Dr. Meera pay for our losses, mental tourture and the hurting of our emotions.
