Non deliver of Cosignment of Household Articles by Chennai packers and movers

I have booked a consignment of all my household articles (consignment No : 21655) via Chennai packers and movers, Kollattur, chennai on 21.06.09.

After ten day on non delivery of the articles i contacted the mD (Sh. T.Kumar) over phone. He told me that my articles were wrongly sent to chandrapura near nagpur and will be sent to my origional address (Kendriya vidyalay, CTPS, Chandrapura, Bokaro District, Jharkhand). But after continous telephonic talk from 07.07.09 to 15.07.09 he informed that my consignment was sent to Kolkatta and will be delivered soon. When i enquired his Kolkatta contact it was infomed that the said consignment was delivered to me. But its was not so. Today when i called Mr. T.Kumar he again told me that my articles were sent to Kolkatta by Train through SMP Rail Cargo, chennai (Owned by Mr. Antony) and it could not be delivered due to non availability of address with kolkatta agent. He again assured me that my articles will be soon delivered to me.

Under this circumstances neither i am able to bring my family nor can lead a peaceful life at my new place of posting.

My consignment was booked with proper insurance coverage.

I am in the process of contacting Superintendent of Police, district Bokaro and district chengalpattu, chennai for getting my consignment back by registering Criminal complaint against M/S Chennai packers and movers, kollattur, chennai.

also i am in the process of moving to consumer court for non delivery of my consignment.

Kindly inform the further course of action in this regard.
