Broad Band Connection is functioning for last 3 months

The broad band connection to my Phone No. 0135-2629972 is not functioning for more than 3 months now. Despite various reminders, and numerous visits the Engineers in BSNL couldn't restore the connection.

I do not understand why should a normal repair work should take such a long duration.
