Wrong Diagnosis by Dermatologist

Sir/Madam,

My Father has been consulting with Dr. Kamalam and Dr. Maragadham Sridhar [Mother-daughter] at Kodambakkam, Chennai for over 10 years now for Eczema. On his right toe, there was a black streak below his nail for around 5 years and when consulted Dr. Kamalam and Dr. Maragadham Sridhar had given him a cream and few tablets to cure it. Recently my father realized a bump on his right upper thigh and when operated upon he was diagonized with Melanoma, a form of skin cancer, that has spread to lymph node. Doctors who are currently treating have found that the black streak on his right toe is the primary and had it been removed as soon as it was found the disease would not have spread to the nodes. It is such a shame that the doctors who are qualified dermatologists have not been able to find this out. We are all going thru such a hard time after this diagnosis. Request the concerned authorities to take necessary action so that nobody else is affected like us.
