DRS AGARWAL MOVERS AND PACKERS
FURNITURE DAMAGE

Hi,

I recently moved my luggage from Chandigarh to bangalore through DRS, Agarwal movers. I paid them 3% insurance premium. When I received my goods my furniture was badly damaged. The new table and sofa were damaged with the top wood badly hit.

When i asked DRS to replace the top they only got it filled with wax. The patch work repair did not help at all. Just 6 months back I spent over 45k on these 2 peices, now they are not even worth a sale.

When I contacted the DRS Delhi head he clearly said that they cannot help beyond this and justified that damage is part of the transfer. I call this complete cheating by an ISO certified company, I paid hefty insurance premium to cover this damage. Why dont they mention on their site that good damage is part of theie service.

I am now contemplating moving the consumer court against them. Please think twice if you are planning to use DRS Agarwal movers services.
