E 24 Channel / Bollywood Hungama
Case of 420 with viewers

Dear Consumer complaint forum,

There is a channel called E 24 which runs a programme called Bollywood Hungama at night. On dt 30.04 I was looking (10:30 pm) at the this programme a lady was anchoring this show. They were displaying an actress body part (lips of Kareena kapoor probably), offer was to recognize the actress correctly and award was Cash Rs: 70, 000.00 INR. I called the programme contact no: (to tell the correct answer): 5664424 via my Reliance mobile no: 91-9021713937.the lady on call (recorded voice) constantly telling that: " you are so lucky... within a little time you will be directed to studio to give the correct answer. The anchor lady on studio keeps the programme on timer and after every wrong call she starts the timer (1 minute timer) so the other callers has to wait for longer duration (I found it fishy, no one gives correct answers). Also they don't display the call charges on the programme or channel so that the person who can afford it only call them. The call i made to them, the call duration was merely 5 - 8 minutes and a huge sum of Rs 110.00 was cut from my mobile no. Now this is disgusting and its forjury, I want consumer forum to stop such channels programme who loots customers/ viewers. I want to lodge complaint against this programme: Bollywood hungama on E 24 Channel. As they has not displayed the call charges they seems to be doing 420 with the customers. I want my money (Rs.110.00) refund back on mobile no: 919021713937.Every customer should know the price prior to buy a product. As in case of (any type of lottery system) like "Kaun banega carorepati on star plus", they displayed the call charges. They are aboliting the regulation."Please favour the aam janta of INDIA against such looters.".
