Transport not deliver goods

I have booked furniture one dining table and four chair for NEW DELHI (LADO SARAI to JHANSI UTTER PRADESH) BY

EASTERN EXPRESS & LOGISTICS

C-1/E 2ND FLOOR OPP.UTSAV GARDEN GATE NO 2 GURGAON-122001

Amount for freight has been paid via cheque Rs 3000and cash RS 995.

Bill no 476 .

Contact person Preetam, mob no 9350327098.

at the time of booking company person told that goods will be delivered at JHANSI within 5 days, now its more than 15 days.

when I call the contact person he told

1-there is no transport to send the goods and no promise if the goods will deliver or not

2-he is not ready to give back goods if he is not able to deliver at destination.

3-as at my home goods needed within week as there is family function if i have requested cargo agency so many time to deliver but contact person Preetam told

he will deliver if i want i can go to police or court.

now i am helpless kindly help me
