Delayed delivery

An electric pump was consigned from Ranchi to Guwahati vide docket no. 441791765 dt. 06.08.09 and assured delivery date was 13.08.09. But, the consignment was delivered on 25.08.09 in partialy damaged condition against full freight payment and Gati representative gave an undertaking in writing that Rs. 1900/- will be refunded to us within 7 days (Total freight was Rs. 3382/-).

We however had demanded the difference of freight between a recognised road transport and the one charged by Gati should be refunded to us.

Now, almost a month have passed since lodging of our complaint with Branch Manger, Gati Limited, Beharbari, Guwahati but neither any amount has been refunded to us nor we have been communicated as to why we should get the refund as demanded.
