Voter id not received

Espected sir,

i have applied for voter id before the lok sabha elections in chennai.i got the number alloted to me and i was even shown the list, while casting my vote. but to my surprise till now

i havent received my and my wife's voter id card. Inspite of going directly and enquiring about this in the concerned offices, i never got any fruitful results.now i had been waiting from last one year
