Election voting privacy
49-O

I belong to Thiruvottiyur constituency. In the recent concluded election, I wanted to vote in 49-O. we went to the school where the polling both for our ward was setup. When i went inside i really shocked two major political parties guys siting inside the polling both and noting down our names in the list they had and they were sitting inside the room. Moreover, those guys know our family in that locality very well. so, I feared to ask to vote for 49-O. Because, I heard that there is one of the guys who opted for 49-O in the previous lok sabha election. The party members noted down his name and then ciriticised him and prevented him getting any facilities from the government /local municipality..so, i had to keep my mouth shut.. because there is no privacy.

I would request to enable the 49-O button in every voting machine by default. So, that the government and the people would really know about how many people didnt want to vote and understand their mentality.
