Irresponsibility / Recklessness

Hi,

This is to inform you that, the staff in EB office located in Ramapuram, Chennai, Tamilnadu is absolutely irresponsible and reckless in entaring the meter readings & in calculating the bill amount. This is the consecutive second time, they recorded Rs.5222/- as a bill amount.

Firts time, I paid because there is no much time to argue with them and last date was approaching & they threatened that, they will disconnect Electricity supply, if I won't pay the bill by 15th of October.

After several requests, I was successful to change the meter and recorded the meter reading on daily basis. As per our calculations, total units run for this 2 months is 713 units. If we calculate, the bill amount is coming to around Rs.1550/- only.

But EB office mentioned it as Rs.5222/- only with out giving any reasons and asking me to pay by 15th of december. Otherwise, they will disconnect the electricity supply to my home.

Even the Assistant Engineer is not effiecient and he has not taken any action on his staff member for their mistake. They are asking me to pay now, later they will adjust it in future bill amount. This is something new story from their end.

They don't have courtesy to explain or listen to our grievances. They all feel as of they are the Kings and no one can do anything to them.

I have decided to teach these guys a fitting lesson in their life. They are public servants. They can not take us for granted.

I have all the proof that, the bill amount is around Rs.1550/- only.

Why should I pay Rs.5222/- for no fault of mine.
