Electrolux Fully automatic washing machine
Not working

I purchased the following Electrolux Household appliances from M/s. Vivek Ltd, Vanasuma Arcade, P&T Colony, R.T. Nagar, Bangalore 560032 on 16.08.03 vide Delivery note no. 4841 and Bill no.1472/15/08/03.

2. Electrolux-Kelvinator Frost-free Fridge

These were purchased by me and gifted to my daughter, who was, at that time staying in Bangalore since my son-in-law was wroking there. Later we purchased another Electrolux fridge for my own use from Fridge House Kochi.

Though the fridge gifted to my daughter was working ok, the washing machine started giving trouble within two months from it's purchase date. At Bangalore itself the local service centre boys attended the machine twice or thrice.

Afterwadrs my son-in-law got transfered to Kerala and they are now settled in Kochi. Since the last two years the Washing Machine is a show piece in my daughter's house. during the last two years it would have worked not more than 25-30 days, the remaining 23 months out of service. The local service centre people now seems to have raised their hands under a full u nconditional surrender. They now say that the worn out parts of the machine are not available in the market or in the company and hence advised us to throw away the machine and buy a new one. Easily said than done.

Since this is no use to us, but occupying a good amount of space of their utility room, we would like to dispose it off. Since we do not find a dumping space for such a big gadget, and even the second hand buyers are not interested.

I suggested to my son-in-law to return it to the factory/works of Electrolux through some packing and forwarding agency. We are arranging to send this for which we require the factory address to which this is to be sent.
