Delay in settling EPF amount

Dear Sir,

Previously i use to work for Abletech Engineers, tho months (5/5) back i have claimed my EPF amount through submitting relevant documents to My E PF limits office i.e Bangalore - Bommasandra Office. When ever we approach them they are telling a same story that it will take its own time. As per my Knowledge each and every Govt. office have their fixed time for settling the files. When we have argued with this point they said they don't have any time limit for this. Please help me out in this regard.
