PF not recieved

I am facing a severe problem for my PF withdrawal. I had my PF account with EPFIndia Mumbai bandra branch and the numbers that are provided are never reachable. the email id provided on the net is also not reachable. Finally when somebody picked up the fax number they gave me another number after trying continuously for 3 days somebody picked the number & said that my PF cheques were sent to me. when i said i haven't received they said it might have returned due to incorrect account number or name. Its been almost 3 months i m chasing these guys and finaly they said that i have to come to their office. To get my PF i have to go to Mumbai from Delhi. Can we do something in this regard that if the cheque is returned back they should have the courtesy of informing the person. Can some one please help how should i get my PF.
