Disruption in dataone service

Complaint docket no C-425 of 1st July. Exchange Vennala, Ernakulam, Kerala.

Dataone service is disrupted from 1st July. The exchange people attended the call and according to their analysis the splitter and modem has gone defective. They took the modem to the exchange and declared it is deffective. Since I have purchased the modem from BSNL and the guarantee period is over they say they cannot replace the modem even if I am ready to bear the cost.

I tried the line with another modem. Since the deffect is still there I reported to the exchange and they agreed to bring another modem and test the line.

I am afraid how long this process will take. If the service complaints are attended in such ineffective ways by the exchange I have to revert better service providing agencies, because my day to day activities related to my business and profession are 90% depended on internet.

At BSNL I find that the senior people solely depend on the line man, who is coming to the site - since the lineman's calibre is not enough to solve the problem with broadband the customer is left to endless suffering. The senior people should take more enthusiasm to give service to the customers to their satisfaction. Then only BSNL can grow in this highly competitive market.

I hope this message is understood by the TOP of BSNL and act positively.
