I had purchased an Eureka Forbes Aquaguard RO smart on 6th Sep 08.
On the 11th water was not getting dispensed and I had called the representative who sold the machine. He had contacted the service staff who came on the 12th and said there was a lose contact and rectified the same. On 14th Sep 08, again water was not getting dispensed from the machine. I had called the customer care and lodged my complaint. Until 20th Sep 08, nobody had turned up and I had again contacted customer care. After repeated follow-up on 24th Sep 08, the technician from Eureka forbes turned up. He again opened the machine and said there was a lose contact and the water got dispensed on that day. The next day again water was not getting dispensed. The technician again turned up on 26th Sep 08 and then found that the pump is notfunctioning.
He has told that he would replace the pump on 26th Sept evening or on 27th Sept 08.
I do not understand why is he replacing the pump and not the machine.
Is Eureka Forbes not confident about the quality of their products or do most of the products have similar complaints. I had made the payment upfront with my credit card and the same has got transferred from my credit card account.
I think it is always better to make the payments to Eureka Forbes through post dated cheques as the products and services are unreliable.
