Stupid service

I enterede into an AMC - Annual Maintenance Contract for my Home water purifier Aquaguard on 10 th October AG96B 14477245 and paid the reqd fees. I was supposed to receive two complete service free with free replacement of defective parts. After completing the first service satisfactorily, I was waiting for the second one. Till end of August no one turned up. The telephone no. given by the company for service complaints was in most of the times busy. When complained on 2o/21 September, I was given a complaint No. SU 2306. A service person came on 23 rd September but did not carry out the free service completely. He informed me that a metal cover is to be changed, which spare is not available then and assured me that he will come and replace the same and complete the service before 9 th October. He did not even clean or change the water filter.
Totally beleiving the incompetent service man, I waited till 9 th October and on the same day again made a complaint, as no one turned up. Two service persons came up and I explained what had happened so far. Both of them repeated the storey of the part being not available then and assured me that the part is expected in a week and as soon as it is available at their stores they would come and do the replacement and service free. Again on 12 th October another two service persons turned up and I was happy that they had come to replace the part. But it turned out to be another hoax. They heard my complaint and repeated the storey of non availability of the metal
cover and promised to come in TEN days time!! I made several calls later but with no response. When I contacted the service centre on phone, on 15/16 Octr. I was bluntly told that the AMC has expired and I have to pay for any service!! I tried to talk to the service manager, and as he was not available gave the details to the person attending the call, who promised to pass on the information. Till today no one has come from the irresponsible service centre. I had intention of renewing the AMC but after this most bitter disservice I received I have no intention of renewing the AMC.
I caution all the users of Eureka appliances to go go for a better serviced brand of appliance and not rely on the lousy stupid service of Eureka forbes. For those who wan t to purchase a water purifier I strongly recommend to go for any other brand than Eurekaforbes.
