Road Repair -Negligence

Sir,

I am an IAF retired personnel and now residing at my native place Madavoor village inTrivandrum Dist.

I live near the "PARAYIL- ETTUKADAVU" road in Madavoor Grama Panchayath's Town ward and approximatly 50 families live by the side of the of the above said PARAYIL-ETTUKADAVU road. This road is one of the oldest roads in Madavoor Gramapanchayath but so far no significant maintenance works were carried out in this road for the past two decades. Almost all kaccha-muddy roads of this panchayath have already been concreted/tarred, but this road was left untouched despite giving several complaints by the residents and, it is learned that this partial treatment was given because of the fact that no Panchayath member or affluent or influential people live by the side of this road.

Now this road is in such a pathetic condition that no three/four wheeled vehicles can ply on this road for

at least for the sake of carrying the patients, or any people in case of any serious illness, accidents. Virtually the people are to be carried mannually to the main road to put them in to a vehicle.
