Query for PF

Dear Sir,

My query is regarding the Provident Funds, as I have left my job with my current employer, and they have not yet transferred my PF from my old PF account to their company's new PF account. Hence they are not providing me any PF account number for last two years.

They gave excuses that they have made the spell error while opening new PF accounts hence it might take more time, they did not specified any time limit for the same.

Please advise as I have joined Amex in yr 2007 and having my PF account number with me, however EXL who has overtaken the Amex in year Mar has not yet given us any PF account number, I am really looking forward for your advise on my query as It is really very important for me to know regarding the funds status which was deducted as PF from my salary.
