Non-delivery of consignment

I received an sms from this courier company on 15 March 08 stating that a consignment (airway bill 2372359964) is pending with them and that they tried to deliver. Its unclear as to when and where they tried to deliver. I was at my location for the entire day. No one bothered to call or reach my place. Added to this, both the numbers mentioned in the consignments are never attended at all points during the day. I called them at 080-41311714/41311715 and no one picked the call even after repeated attempts. Can we do something about such a crappy service? Apparently, I am not the only one complaining about such a crappy service.
