NON RECEIPT OF GOODS BOOKED BY IR

Dear Sir,

Reg: Lost /Theft of Imported goods from New Delhi Station booked on 17.8.08 worth Rs. 10.00 lacs.

We have Hi Tech Computerised Textiles Printing Factory at Varanasi, a unique factory in itself in the state of U.P. The products of our factory is basically exported earning foreign exchange for our country.

The essential consumable i.e. Printing Ink needs to be imported from Switzerland for running of the factory. As usual we have imported the ink worth CHF 17640.20 (invoice enclosed) equivalent to Rs.740000/&-amp; paid the custom duty & other charges worth Rs.260000/- Totaling the value of inks to Rs.10.00 lacs.

The above ink was booked through the Cargo Company of Mr Shiv Sharan Sharma of Swastik Carrier, New Delhi his mobile no. 9810161225 on 14th August Swastik booked (five packages) the cargo through Mr Kishan Khukreja of Kishan Freight Forwarder, the Authorised Lease Holder of Indian Railways on 17th August for onward transportation to Varanasi, his mobile no. 9811331103.

Out of five packages booked we have only received one package & rest four was informed missing by the courier company. As you are aware that the goods are of high value & most important essential consumable for running of the factory & non receipt of goods by FABCO on time is resulting in closure of the factory from last one week incurring severe loss each day & moreover being export oriented this delay in production is causing cancellation of orders & loosing their valuable foreign customers forever.

We request you for your kind intervention so that the cargo can be recovered immediately & delivered to us & the persons involved in this mishap should be brought to justice so that the name & fame of Indian Railways are restored.
