Fixed Deposit
Current a/c closed but not updated

I had taken a loan against my fixed deposit a/c 30194566821 in Raipur BR and the said loan a/c was closed on 25th July'08. Then I shifted to Mumbai and both my H/s A/c (30194557170) and the fixed deposit were transfered to Vikhroli Br.

Now on the maturity of the fixed deposit when I surrendered the FD to Vikhroli, they said that Raipur Br did not close the current a/c loan and hence they can not pay me the amount.

I am really surprised if SBi claims that they are under core banking then why Vikhroli br can not close this case. Why I should follow up with Raipur?

Pl take it up with both Raipur Personalised Br and Vikhroli Br. and settle the issue.
