Fresh passport
Delay in passport

Hi I had applied for my passport on 17.3.2009 and the current status online shows

'Passport number... is allotted. Passport dispatch is underway'. This status hasnt changed for the past 2 weeks and now it is more than 2 months since i applied.

I would be travelling abroad within the next 20 days and need my passport to apply for my visa and unfortunately i still have no response. I went to the passport office in bikaji cama and checked with the RPO who said I would have the passport within 1 or 2 days and its already more than 2 days.. I would appreciate if someone could please help me in getting my passport at the earliest and also let me know if there is a posiibility by which I can directly go to the passport office and collect it.

My file number is - DLH-A014449-09
