Sub Standard product sold to me

I bought a Sony Viao- Adapter from this company. The purchase was made in Mid - Feb. The product was covered with a 3 months warranty. They sent the product and the same was not working properly for me, in fact I spoke to them earlier also about the same, finally the adapter conked off last Friday (4 June). They are now saying that the warranty is over and they will not be doing anything in this case and suggested that I should buy a new adapter. Please provide me justise.
