Lose of house hold goods

Dear Sir,
Recently i have to shift from Patna to Srinagar (Garhwal) as i have got a new jobs in Ministry of Environment, GoI.I got my household goods transported through Gati Ltd (www.gati.com). But they have did not deliver my two household goods and they have damaged my Almira and fridge badly. I have repeated requested them to at least trace out my two cartoons carrying electrical goods forth Rs4000/-.Now they say i have not put any remarks on proof of delivery document, but i have my self signed with all the remarks of my losses.
Kindly help me in this regards or at least guide me properly.
