Money taken out of account

I looked into applying for a spousal visa in october to south africa. I paid a two hundred pound deposit to get the papers sent to me, and they seemed only to willing to help me. I was told over the phone that the remaining amount of money, four hundred plus would be taken out of my account just before submitting the papers. This all seems fine apart from the fact that the money has now been taken out without any papers submitted, and without my knowledge. So for this past month i have been trying to get this sorted, only for the person who dealt with my case to be constantly unavailable. Now i am being told that this was in my contract that the money would be taken out, only i have never seen or signed a contract with global visas. Now there seems to be nothing i can do about this. Just wish i had read the numerous complaint letters before contacting them. Be careful people.
