Gogrej Alladin Offer - The assured gift not free

I bought a Godrej EON 282 litres Refrigerator from Shyam Lal & Company, Sadar Bazar, Delhi Cantt, New Delhi-110010 on 24 Sep 09. I was given a scratch card of Alladin. As per wish No - 3 there is an assured gift. However on enquiry from the shop they have informed that an additional amount will have to be paid to get the assured gift. Then what is meant by an assured gift. It should have been said a discount would be given rather than a gift. Is Godrej making a fool of the public. Even the customer care didn't know about scheme / offer. I did try to get the exact details from the persons whose email details were available on the Godrej's official web site but they never bothered to reply back even after I have written that I would represent this matter to the consumer court. Their emails are, . That copy was forwarded to Godrej's email.

What is the remedy.
