Godrej/Eon Refrigerator
Defective new fridge/noisy

I bought a Godrej Eon Refrigerator from Ace Technomark Noida on 9th May under invoice No. 1035 .

The product description is REF GFE 26D Metallic Silver.

When the packing was opened at my residence, the main door had a dent on it. It was explained that this will be rectified. The refrigerator was making excessive noise also.

For this a complaint was registered with their service centre under complaint No. 896580 dated 10/05/09.

A service technician came on 11/05/09 and after examining informed us that the main door will be replaced soon. As there was no power at that time, the Noise problem could not be checked and he informed us that this will be taken up when he comes for door replacement on 16/05/09.

However, no one came for the same and on enquiring we were told that the main door was out of stock.

Continuous followup was maintained and the service technician finally came on 3/06/09 and replaced the dented door with an old door. Regarding the noise, he plainly stated that there was no excessive noise and that such noise was normal.

I feel cheated and refuse to own a second hand looking refrigerator making a noise like an airplane, when I have paid full money for the appliance.

I demand my money back immediately. I am not satisfied with Godrej product at all and would advise all concerned to keep away from their products.
