Noise from the compresso

We have purchased Godrej refrigerator (Model No. GFE25AY) FROM M/s Sahu Agencies, Lucknow on 13.03.09. The same was delivered to us in the midnight (11.45 pm) of 13.03.09 by the agency's Rickshaw puller who opened it and plug in the appliance. Next day we noticed that its compressor is making heavy noise and internal light is not functioning. We approched the agency however nobody turn for next 4-5 days. After follow up one day a machenic came to change of bulb. When we ask him about the noise he explained that it is quite normal and further the summer season is approaching when you will start using fans and cooler and you will not hear the noise (what a funny solution). We again approched the agency many times and one fine day the same person appears with one meter to measure the level of noise. After measurement he told that the noise level is 61 and is well within the max limit of 60 (how). On verification of the meter we find that the meter is due for caliberation in 2007 and not yet caliberated. The person told that our engineer will come with new meter after 31.03.09 and check the fridge. However till date there is no response even after I reminded them personally and over phone number of times. Even we got a gift of fridge ware on scratch card which the agency is unable to deliver as the same is not received by them from their Bombay office. If this is the way your Company is providing the product and services to the customer God may bless your company.
