Receiving bills on expiry of SBI Credit Card NO:4317 5750 2610

I had requested to terminate the SBI credit card no. 4317 5750 2610 in favour of me vide my application dated 14.3.2006 addressed to SBI Cards and Payment Services Pvt. Ltd. P.O. Bag NO:28, GPO, New Delhi-110 001 and a message in this connection has been received on 23.3.2006 at 10.40:19 as follows:
“Dear Customer, as per your request we have closed your SBI card
account – SBI card” Sender/SBI Card: Centre: 919814047108
From April onwards, the credit bills have not been received, so that I am in assurance that the card has been terminated. When I contacted 022-26329212 and toll free NO:1800 180 1290, it has been told that ‘the number is not matching with the credit number in our system’. But I am surprised that the bills are still being received showing the balance as ‘0’ from May duly reducing the credit points that are in my account which is making mental disturbance to me as I had suffered a lot in maintaining the credit card. Therefore, I request you to look into the matter and see that the bills are stopped.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
