Halifax Bank of Scotland
Request for Refund

Sir,

I received an e-mail from the id "halifaxbank_hbos@yahoo.co.uk" stating that my e-mail was selected for a lottery worth 500000 GBP. Then they asked me to pay 2- rupees to activate my account for winning transfer to bank account. Their representative in India called me up. I requested him to pay some amount out of Rs. 2- He said that you pay Rs. 6000/- I will take care of the rest matter. So I thought on this & trusted him & paid Rs. 6000/-, out of my hard earned savings, in to his bank account. The bank has also acknowledged the payment.

Now the bank is asking for Cost of Transfer of Rs. 65000/- more. I dont have a penny now.

Sir, the bank should have told me about the Cost of Transfer earlier only. If I knew about it I wouldn't have paid 6000/- in the first place. Now I want my money back but the bank is denying the same.

Please Sir, look in to the matter & help me get my money back as they dont have any right of keeping it. Please help
