Regarding warranty

I bought a Sandisk micro sd card 8 gb this year, the card developed problem soon after, i contacted my retailer who directed me to a service center. I didnt got any help there, and then i was directed to another. The card has a hcl sticker on it and the address is given of the importer as HCL, the number given i tried to call did not respond. The person at hcl service center bangalore told me that HCL Doesnt import micro sd card. Now i.m considering going to consumers court for the same. Can anyone help me if they have the information if HCL Imports micro sd card or not.. And is it appropriate to go to consumers court for the same. Thank you. My mail is dantrolene@gmail.com
